  • Free donation testing is available to eligible donors at participating centers: one available donation panel or up to two eligible individual tests. Donation panels are more limited than paid panels.
  • No* means that we could not find any public documentation of these features as of 2026-10-26.
  • Goodlabs paid draws are not available in Hawaii, Rhode Island, or U.S. territories. Test and location availability vary; find a donation center for the separate donation pathway.
  • Collection availability depends on your location. Walk-In Lab's fee-inclusive pricing doesn't apply to home test kits. Details checked 2026-10-26.

Goodlabs gives you two ways to get bloodwork, and neither needs a membership. Donate blood at a partner blood center and get your chosen tests run from the same visit for free, or buy only the tests you want and get them drawn at a partner lab. Walk-In Lab also sells tests directly, with the draw fee built into the test price, a $6 physician fee per order, and collection at 4,500+ Quest and Labcorp sites. With either Goodlabs path, you get online results, free tracking, and Barry, an AI assistant you can ask about your numbers.

At Goodlabs you can:

  • Donate blood for free testing. Choose from the tests available with an eligible donation.
  • Buy individual tests or panels. See the full price, including the draw fee, before checkout.
  • Understand your results. Read biomarker explanations and ask Goodlabs’ Barry AI questions for free.

Both let you buy tests directly and view results online. Goodlabs also offers free testing through eligible donations. Regardless of if you order tests with Goodlabs, you can access free tools to monitor your results. You can even upload bloodwork from outside of Goodlabs into the platform.

Goodlabs offers donation testing alongside paid tests

Walk-In Lab includes the draw fee in its standard lab test prices and adds a $6 physician fee per order, with collection at Quest or Labcorp. Home kits have separate pricing. At Goodlabs, you can donate for eligible free testing or buy tests directly.

Free testing through donation

Book a donation through Goodlabs at a partner blood center. Today that means select Vitalant, Inova, Blood Assurance, Bloodworks Northwest, and LifeStream locations. The tubes for your tests are drawn during the same donation, so there is no second appointment or second needle. Your blood goes to patients who need it, and your results go to your Goodlabs account.

Eligible donors choose one donation panel or up to two eligible individual tests, at no cost. The blood center pays Goodlabs a referral fee for each completed donation, and that fee covers your testing. Donation panels include fewer tests than the paid versions, and the center decides who can donate that day. You can get free testing every 56 days at most partner centers, or twice a year at Blood Assurance.

Buy directly from Goodlabs

Pick individual tests, a Goodlabs-made panel, or your own custom panel. You pay for the tests you choose plus a draw fee per visit, with the full total shown before checkout. You don't need a doctor's visit or insurance. Your blood is drawn at a partner lab: Quest, Labcorp, or BioReference (BioReference in New York and New Jersey).

Barry can help you choose tests, put together a panel, find available appointments, and book at participating locations.

For a simple blood count and metabolic check, get the tests in Walk-In Lab's CBC and CMP panel through Goodlabs for $21 using Quest, including the draw fee. Walk-In lists the panel among its popular wellness tests. Its regular total is $51 including its $6 physician fee.

* Regular prices compared without discounts, checked 2026-10-26. The comparison covers CBC with differential and CMP; prices may change.

Goodlabs adds AI help to your lab reports

Walk-In Lab shows reference ranges and flags results outside those ranges. Goodlabs includes biomarker explanations and Barry, a free AI assistant you can ask about your results. You can ask what a marker measures or how it relates to other numbers in your report.

Both services let you review past test results. With Goodlabs, you can see how your levels change over time and, if you have older lab reports, upload them for free to add context. Clinician review and telehealth are coming soon to Goodlabs.

You can also connect a supported AI assistant to your Goodlabs biomarker values and history. Uploading reports, tracking results, and using Barry are free, with no test purchase or donation required.

Share a Goodlabs panel or try someone else's

Walk-In Lab offers custom panels through approved healthcare providers. With Goodlabs, build and share a panel yourself, or discover public panels made by others and use their selections. Share a link with friends or family so they can order the same tests. Your results stay private.

Should you choose Goodlabs or Walk-In Lab?

Choose Goodlabs if: you want free bloodwork through an eligible donation, or more affordable paid tests you can choose individually or combine into a shareable panel. Barry helps with test selection and results, and uploads and tracking stay free.
