  • Free donation testing is available to eligible donors at participating centers: one available donation panel or up to two eligible individual tests. Donation panels are more limited than paid panels.
  • No* means that we could not find any public documentation of these features as of 2026-10-26.
  • Mito shows a member and a non-member price for each test. Its draw fee is charged per lab visit: $15 at Quest, $11.50 at Labcorp, and $9.50 at BioReference. Prices checked 2026-10-26.

Goodlabs gives you two ways to get bloodwork, and neither needs a membership. Donate blood at a partner blood center and get your chosen tests run from the same visit for free, or buy only the tests you want and get them drawn at a partner lab. Mito Health also sells tests one at a time without a membership, and a clinician reviews every result. Its optional membership ($9 a month or $99 a year) lowers test prices and adds uploads, results history, the Mito Concierge AI, and an action plan. Regardless of whether or not you order tests with Goodlabs, you can access free tools like Goodlabs’ Barry AI to monitor your results. You can even upload bloodwork from outside of Goodlabs into the platform.

At Goodlabs you can:

  • Donate blood for free testing. Choose from the tests available with an eligible donation.
  • Buy tests without a membership. See the price for your selected tests and draw fee before checkout.
  • Keep tracking and Barry free. See changes between tests and ask questions about your results.

Both sell tests without requiring a membership. Goodlabs also offers free testing through eligible donations, so compare the testing options as well as the cost of results tools

Goodlabs offers donation testing alongside paid tests

Mito offers member and non-member test prices. Like Goodlabs, it uses Quest, Labcorp, and BioReference for blood draws, and it also offers at-home draws where available. With Goodlabs, you can donate for eligible free testing or buy tests directly, and there's no membership fee on either path.

Free testing through donation

Book a donation through Goodlabs at a partner blood center. Today that means select Vitalant, Inova, Blood Assurance, Bloodworks Northwest, and LifeStream locations. The tubes for your tests are drawn during the same donation, so there is no second appointment or second needle. Your blood goes to patients who need it, and your results go to your Goodlabs account.

Eligible donors choose one donation panel or up to two eligible individual tests, at no cost. The blood center pays Goodlabs a referral fee for each completed donation, and that fee covers your testing. Donation panels include fewer tests than the paid versions, and the center decides who can donate that day. You can get free testing every 56 days at most partner centers, or twice a year at Blood Assurance.

Buy directly from Goodlabs

Pick individual tests, a Goodlabs-made panel, or your own custom panel. You pay for the tests you choose plus a draw fee per visit, with the full total shown before checkout. You don't need a doctor's visit or insurance. Your blood is drawn at a partner lab: Quest, Labcorp, or BioReference (BioReference in New York and New Jersey).

Barry can help you choose tests, put together a panel, find available appointments, and book at participating locations.

Goodlabs-made panels and Barry, without a membership

Goodlabs offers Goodlabs-made panels, Mito offers its own ready-made panels, and both offer AI help choosing tests. Barry can help you put together a panel and book a supported lab visit. With Goodlabs, you also get uploads, results history, and AI help understanding your results for free. You can also build a custom panel with the tests you want and share the selection with friends or family. Mito includes ongoing results tracking and AI health chat in its optional membership.

With Goodlabs, you can compare your results over time and ask Barry what a marker measures or how it relates to the rest of your report. If you have older lab reports, you can also upload them for free. You don't need to buy a test to use these tools. Clinician review and telehealth are coming soon to Goodlabs.

You can also connect an AI assistant you already use to your Goodlabs biomarker values and history. Your account, uploads, tracking, and Barry stay free without a test purchase or donation.

Share a Goodlabs panel or try someone else's

Both Goodlabs and Mito let you choose individual tests and build a custom selection. With Goodlabs, turn your selection into a panel and share a link with friends or family. You can also discover public panels made by others and use their test lists. Your results stay private.

Should you choose Goodlabs or Mito Health?

Choose Goodlabs if: you want free bloodwork through an eligible donation, or Goodlabs-made and custom paid panels with no subscription. Barry can help you choose tests and book supported lab visits, and your uploads, tracking, and AI help stay free.

Choose Mito Health if: you want clinician-reviewed results or educational consultations today, or want to order scans, at-home test kits, or whole-genome sequencing through the same service. Goodlabs' clinician review, telehealth, and genetics are coming soon.
