What is Diabetes Risk Index (DRI)?

Diabetes Risk Index (DRI) is an NMR-derived score that combines LP-IR with branched-chain amino acid signals to estimate future type 2 diabetes risk independent of current glycemic status. Higher scores indicate higher metabolic risk and should be interpreted alongside glucose, HbA1c, insulin resistance markers, and clinical context.
