SPINA-GD

SPINA-GD estimates the maximum peripheral T4-to-T3 conversion (sum activity of peripheral deiodinases). It is calculated from Free T4 and Free T3 and accounts for nonlinear enzyme kinetics, unlike a simple FT3/FT4 ratio. Low values indicate reduced peripheral conversion; high values indicate increased peripheral conversion.
