What is PCT (Plateletcrit)?

Plateletcrit (PCT) measures the percentage of blood volume occupied by platelets, analogous to hematocrit for red blood cells. It is calculated from the platelet count and MPV (PCT = Platelet Count x MPV / 10,000). It provides an overall assessment of total platelet mass.
