Learn what LDL/HDL Ratio measures and how it fits into your health data.

What is LDL/HDL Ratio?

LDL-C to HDL-C Ratio provides a simple comparison between "bad" and "good" cholesterol levels. While historically used, it's considered less informative than metrics like ApoB, LDL-P, Non-HDL-C, or the TG/HDL ratio, especially since it relies on cholesterol concentrations rather than particle numbers or triglyceride status. A lower ratio is generally better, but focusing on the individual components and particle counts is preferred for optimal risk assessment.
